These are our own photographs — the rooms as they actually look, the stone the house is built from, and the streets you'll walk the moment you step outside. Nothing staged, nothing borrowed from a stock library.
Four rooms across two floors, each one different because the walls were never straight to begin with. Exposed stone where the original masonry survived, soft light through deep-set windows, and the small details our family has collected over four generations — a lamp, a basket, a tricycle that belonged to someone's childhood.
Villa Duketis stands on Iza Kasarne, roughly fifty metres from the Main Square and a few minutes from the harbour. The photographs of narrow lanes, worn steps and evening light aren't from somewhere else in Istria — they're the walk to and from our front door.
Have a look at the four rooms, read how the house came to us, or message Marko and Eleni directly for dates and the best rate.
